Terms of Service
Last updated September 30, 2026. These terms are between you and Ponder Global, Ltd, a Delaware corporation that operates Chit-Chat (“we”).
The service
Chit-Chat provides spoken conversation practice with AI-generated characters. Characters are fictional; their statements may be inaccurate and are not professional advice.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 (or the age of digital consent where you live) and keep your sign-in secure. One person per account.
Free trial
Each account gets 5 free minutes of conversation to try the service. Creating extra accounts to get more free time isn’t allowed.
Subscriptions and cancelling
Pro renews monthly at the listed price until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings: your subscription then ends at the close of the month you’ve paid for and doesn’t renew, and you keep Pro until then. We don’t refund the current month or any part-used period, except where the law requires.
Fair use
Pro is for one person’s everyday use. It currently includes up to 600 replies a day, resetting at midnight UTC.
Acceptable use
No attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer or abuse the service, extract prompts, generate unlawful content, or use it to harass others. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; if we close a paid account without cause, we’ll refund the unused part of the period.
Changes
We may change the service, its features, the free trial, usage limits (including the daily fair-use limit) and these terms at any time. If a change materially affects you, we’ll tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice before changing the price of an existing subscription, and you can cancel before the new price applies. Continuing to use Chit-Chat after a change takes effect means you accept it.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place you live.
