The Arabic you’ll hear
Egyptian (Masri) by default, or Modern Standard Arabic, Levantine or Gulf: pick one in Settings and Youssef speaks it, in a matching voice. Arabic script with a simple Latin transliteration.

Beginner — Youssef says one or two short sentences at a time, slowly. Intermediate — natural everyday Arabic at a moderate pace. Expert — full native speed, idioms and humor.

Egyptian by default, the dialect most Arabic speakers understand. If you’re studying Modern Standard Arabic, Levantine or Gulf, choose it under Arabic dialect in Settings and Youssef switches, voice included.
Can I read along?
Yes. Every sentence is captioned in Arabic script, with a Latin transliteration and a separate English translation.
Do I need to type?
No. Chit-Chat is hands-free: just talk. It hears when you finish speaking, and you can interrupt whoever you’re talking to, just like a real conversation. A text box is there if you prefer to type.
